John Klein's May 15th post got me thinking, Isn't the listing in Add/Remove programs what separates a normal program from a spyware program? Heh.
Personally, I don't think you gain much benefit from it and the tradeoff is that several tech people (help desk, maybe) will be confused when they look at it. Also, the StdLoadApps.lst file would be one more thing that would need to be updated, and we all know how good techies are at documentation!
I don't think it would make a big difference either way, but it's easier to skip it. |
