Controlling Access to Printers

Initally, and certainly during the pilot phase, we'll only be providing WolfCopy accounted printers.

We expect that later, as we scale up, groups will be interested in authenticated printers, that is, printers that only certain groups of individuals can use.

For WolfCopy printers, access is controlled by the WolfCopy administrators. If you do not have access to print to a printer under Windows, it will appear to be "paused" and you will get a "print spooler not running" error if you attempt to connect with it. To change who has access to a WolfCopy printer, contact the folks with the WolfCopy workgroup in Remedy.
