We have decided to create "scratch" space on the local workstation in our new environment. Users will have full write rights over c:\scratch, however the contents of this directory will be deleted at logout. Local temp will continue to be available, but will not be advertised. We are considered placing a shortcut on the default users desktop pointing to scratch and labeled "Scratch Space (Deleted at Logout)".
Unity-Configure scratch space is the GPO that manages this directory. Scratch is created at startup, cleared at logout, and deleted at shutdown.
