Manual (260 KB, zenappbuild-student.doc, last updated 11/15/2004) - This document is formatted so that it can be printed and then copied with the single-sided to double-sided option. It is 42 pages, includes a table of contents with learning objectives. It is laid out with into sections with content followed by exercises and/or questions about the material.
For people who have taken the class, this is a revised version of the printout you received in class. It is substantively the same, except perhaps for folks in the first section who patiently worked through the initial revision of this document. It does have a significantly improved section on Application Dependencies. In any case, this is the latest & greatest, so if you are interested, it may be worth downloading.
Answer Key (110 KB, zenanswerkey.doc, last updated 11/15/2004) - This document is 13 pages, and is also formatted for single-sided to double-sided copying. It contains answers for the 46 questions in the manual. Note that many questions can have multiple correct answers, as they are designed to encourage a certain amount of creative thinking about the material.
